Intramural sports are scheduled competitive and recreational activities. Intramural activities are offered for both men and women. Participants may choose from individual, dual or team activities. Male, female, and coed activities are organized into various skill levels for the enjoyment of the participant.
Intramural Poker Series
The Intramural Program offers several poker tournaments that any currently enrolled student can enter. Starting at 6pm each of the days listed below, we will play till we have 1 winner for each tournament. The winner from each tournament will win an Intramural Champion T-shirt.
There will be 3 tournaments during the fall semester, and 3 during the spring semester. For each tournament, students will receive points based on participation and finishing in the top 7. The top 14, based on points, will be invited to the final event at the end of spring semester.
Prize breakdown:
1st - Poker chip set
2nd - Poker table top
3rd - Copag plastic playing cards
All tournaments are FREE to enter and no one wins money.
Participants must show Panther ID when checking in. Check in begins at 5:30pm and closes at 6:00pm. Tournament starts promptly at 6:00pm. Registration is encouraged online, but "walk up" participants will be accepted. Participants who sign up online will start with more chips.
